
White Rock, BC- White Rock RCMP are investigating after a woman reported being assaulted near the 14900-block of Prospect Avenue on Friday morning.
On October 3, 2025, at around 10:00 a.m., the victim was attacked near a set of stairs in the area. Police say the suspect punched and groped the victim before fleeing southbound through the park. The victim sustained minor injuries.
The White Rock RCMP General Investigation Section is leading the case, with support from the Integrated Forensic Identification Service (IFIS), which processed the scene. Officers are also canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses and surveillance footage.
Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian man between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up, khaki pants, and white shoes.
“Given the violent nature of this assault, we are encouraging members of our community to exercise vigilance while our investigators work to identify and locate the suspect,” said Staff Sergeant Rob Dixon, White Rock RCMP Detachment Commander.
