White Rock, B.C. – The iconic White Rock Pier will be illuminated this month to mark two important occasions — Remembrance Day on November 11 and National Child Day on November 20.
The pier’s lighting program continues to celebrate community, awareness, and inclusion through meaningful displays that recognize national and local events.
Community non-profit groups are invited to submit lighting requests for the 2026 calendar year by November 30, 2025. Applicants will be notified in January 2026 if their submissions have been approved.
Applications will only be accepted during the official intake period of October 1 to November 30, 2025. Requests submitted outside these dates will not be considered.
Built in 1914, the White Rock Pier remains one of the region’s most cherished landmarks, attracting visitors from across the Lower Mainland and beyond. The pier and surrounding waterfront continue to be a favourite spot for locals and tourists alike to enjoy scenic views, ocean breezes, and the beauty of Semiahmoo Bay.
