White Rock, BC – The City of White Rock is adjusting its garbage, recycling, and green waste collection time from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., effective April 1, 2025.
The change is aimed at better allocating staff resources, reducing time spent in traffic, lowering carbon emissions, and ultimately saving taxpayer dollars.
This adjustment only applies to residential property owners and does not impact strata buildings or properties that use private waste collection services.
Residents are advised to place their waste bins at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on their designated collection days to ensure pickup under the new schedule.
