Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal has announced its candidate for the Lok Sabha elections from the Khadoor Sahib Lok Sabha constituency.
SAD leader Virsa Singh Valtoha will be the party candidate from Khadoor Sahib.
So far, the SAD has announced 14 candidates – 13 for Punjab and one for Chandigarh.
Valtoha has been member of the Punjab legislative assembly from 2007 to 2012 and then 2012 to 2017. In 2007, he was elected to the legislative assembly from the Valtoha constituency. During the 2012 Punjab election, the Valtoha constituency underwent boundary delimitation and he was elected as MLA Valtoha from Khem Karan.
