Peel Region, ON – Peel Regional Police have arrested two men in British Columbia in connection with the fatal shooting of Harjeet Dhadda, a 51-year-old Brampton resident, in a Mississauga parking lot last month.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at approximately 11:49 a.m. near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way. Dhadda was approached by a suspect and shot multiple times. He was rushed to hospital but later died of his injuries.
Shortly after the attack, police located a stolen 2018 black Dodge Challenger, believed to have been used in the suspects’ escape.
Following an intense investigation led by Peel Police’s Homicide Bureau, detectives identified two suspects who had fled the province. On May 28, working in partnership with the Delta Police Department, Abbotsford Police, Surrey Police, RCMP, and the British Columbia Sheriff Service, officers arrested Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay, both 21 years old from Delta, B.C.
The suspects were brought before a Justice in Surrey, B.C., and were later transferred back to Ontario under police escort to face First-Degree Murder charges. Both appeared for a bail hearing on June 1 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Police continue to investigate and are asking for public assistance.
