Peel Region – Peel Regional Police have arrested two Brampton men in connection with a large-scale theft and re-vinning operation involving transport trucks and trailers.

On March 11, 2025, officers responded to a fraud in progress at a trucking yard and repair facility near Derry Road East and Beckett Drive in Mississauga. A subsequent investigation by the Commercial Auto Crime Bureau led to a search warrant execution the next day, uncovering a large-scale operation involving stolen and altered vehicles.

Authorities recovered 14 re-vinned trailers, one stolen trailer, three re-vinned transport trucks, and two stolen transports that were being dismantled. Additionally, two refrigeration trailers loaded with raspberries and beef were found and successfully returned to their rightful owners.

The following individuals have been charged:

•   Inderjit Singh Walia (50) from Brampton

•   Narinder Shoker (43) from Brampton

Both men face multiple charges, including:

•   Tampering with Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) x 17

•   Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 3

•   Breach of Probation (for Shoker only)

The accused are scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.

To date, police have recovered approximately $1.45 million worth of stolen trucks, trailers, and cargo. The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to uncover the full extent of the operation and identify additional victims and suspects.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Peel Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
