White Rock, B.C. – The beloved Torchlight Parade, presented by Waste Connections of Canada, returns on Saturday, August 2 as a highlight of the White Rock Sea Festival & Semiahmoo Days.
Crowds can expect an evening of excitement along Marine Drive as colourful floats, decorated vehicles, and lively marching bands fill the waterfront with music and lights. The family-friendly event is a signature attraction that draws thousands of spectators each year.
As part of the preparations, road closures and traffic changes will be in effect. Marine Drive will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at 6 p.m. at Oxford Street. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, arrive early, and use alternative transportation where possible.
