Surrey, BC – One suspect has been arrested, and two people sustained minor injuries following a series of overnight break and enters and assaults in South Surrey.
On February 26, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers from the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) responded to reports of a male suspect breaking into multiple homes and assaulting individuals in the area of King George Boulevard and 160th Street.
SPOSU members arrived on the scene, located the suspect, and took him into custody. BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) attended and treated two people on-site for minor injuries.
Authorities say the incident appears to be random, and the suspect is not known to the victims. The investigation is ongoing, and a Report to Crown Counsel will be submitted for charge assessment.
