Surrey, BC – The City of Surrey’s much-anticipated tree sale is back for 2025, giving residents an affordable way to beautify their properties while contributing to the city’s green space.
The first two sales of the year are set for March 5 and April 30, with each sale offering 1,000 trees at just $20 per tree. Given the popularity of this program, residents are encouraged to act fast, as trees sell out quickly.
• March 5 Sale: Online orders open at 9 a.m. with a pick-up date on March 30 at the Surrey Operations Centre (6651 148 Street).
• April 30 Sale: Online orders open at 9 a.m., with pick-up scheduled for May 25.
“The City of Surrey’s tree sale is one of our most popular events with trees selling out regularly and quickly,” said Mayor Brenda Locke. “If you are interested in picking up one, make sure to mark your calendar as the trees are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.”
The city hosts four online tree sales per year, with two more sales planned later in 2025. This initiative supports the growth of Surrey’s urban forest, helping to improve air and water quality while providing shade and insulation for homes.
