Surrey, BC – Officers from Surrey Police District 3 joined the community  at the Guru Nanak Food Bank’s 4th Annual School Supply Drive, lending their support to help local children prepare for the upcoming school year.

The event brought together community members, volunteers, and police officers who helped collect and organize donations of backpacks, notebooks, and other school essentials. These supplies will be distributed to children and families in need ahead of the new school term.

“Events like this truly highlight the power of community partnerships,” said organizers, thanking everyone who contributed to the drive.

The Guru Nanak Food Bank continues to play a vital role in supporting families across Surrey, not only with food security but also with initiatives like this one that help set children up for success.
