Surrey, BC – As the annual Cloverdale Rodeo approaches, Surrey Police Service (SPS) is reminding families to stay vigilant and prioritize safety during the four-day event, taking place from May 16 to 19.
The Cloverdale Rodeo is one of Western Canada’s largest and most popular family-friendly events, with over 65,000 attendees expected this year. Attractions will include the iconic country rodeo shows, thrilling amusement park rides, live music performances, and more than 40 food trucks offering a wide variety of local and international cuisine.
In a public safety message, SPS advised:
“Cloverdale Rodeo is taking place May 16–19. This family-friendly event draws thousands of people annually. A reminder to keep children within eyesight, and if a family member goes missing, look for a volunteer, security, or SPS officer.”
Event organizers, local volunteers, and law enforcement will be on-site throughout the weekend to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Lost-and-found stations, medical tents, and child-safety wristbands will be available at key points within the event grounds.
The Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is a staple in the Lower Mainland’s spring calendar and is widely known for bringing together families, youth, and rodeo fans of all ages.
