Surrey, BC – Surrey Police Service (SPS) is appealing to the public for information following a disturbing act of vandalism at the Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir in the early hours of April 19, 2025.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., suspects wearing face coverings arrived at the temple, located in the 8300 block of 140th Street, and spray-painted multiple building pillars as well as a sign bearing the Mandir’s name. The suspects were seen fleeing in a white pickup truck, believed to be a Dodge.
SPS investigators are actively seeking witnesses and relevant information, especially dashcam footage from the area between 3:00 a.m. and 3:40 a.m. on April 19. Surveillance footage and community tips could be crucial in identifying the individuals responsible.
