
Surrey, BC – The first overseas chapter of the Khalsa College Amritsar Global Alumni Association has been officially launched in British Columbia, Canada. Hon. Sukhminder “Sukh” Singh Dhaliwal, MP for Surrey-Newton, will serve as the Patron of the association, further strengthening the ties between the Sikh community in Surrey and Khalsa College Amritsar.

In a statement to ‘Surrey News’, Dhanwinderjit Singh Tony Bal, President of the association, shared that plans are underway for their first official get-together, with the date to be announced soon. The establishment of this chapter marks a significant step for Khalsa College alumni residing in Canada, providing them with a platform to connect and engage with their alma mater and fellow alumni.
This initiative is expected to promote cultural ties and encourage the next generation to participate in educational and community activities.
