
Surrey, BC – Surrey Police Service (SPS) officers are investigating an overnight shots fired incident that caused property damage to a business in South Surrey.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., SPS Frontline officers responded to reports of gunfire outside a business located in the 2100 block of King George Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that multiple gunshots had struck the exterior of the building.
The business was closed at the time of the incident, with no staff inside and no reported injuries.
SPS officers remain on scene and are examining the area for physical and digital evidence to determine what led to the shooting.
Police are urging anyone who may have been in the area between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., witnessed suspicious activity, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
