SURREY, B.C. — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Sunday morning in Surrey’s Guildford neighbourhood.
On July 20, 2025, at approximately 11:05 a.m., multiple 911 calls were made reporting shots fired near 152 Street and 96 Avenue. Officers from the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) quickly responded to the scene and discovered numerous shell casings in the area.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection to the incident.
Members of the SPOSU General Investigation Unit (GIU) are now actively investigating, with support from the Surrey Police Service (SPS). Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify those responsible.
Police are asking any witnesses or individuals with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to contact investigators.
