Staff Report
November 27, 2025 11:18am

Surrey, BC – Surrey Police Service (SPS) and the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Wednesday morning at a Surrey residence.

At approximately 3:05 a.m. on November 27, 2025, SPOSU officers responded to reports of possible gunfire at a home in the 11200 block of 153A Street. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that the residence had been struck by gunshots. No injuries were reported.

The RCMP SPOSU General Investigation Unit has taken over the investigation, which remains in its early stages. Officers are gathering evidence and working with policing partners to determine whether the incident may be connected to other cases. At this time, investigators do not believe the shooting is linked to the ongoing series of extortions in the region.

Police are urging anyone with information, including potential suspect identities or CCTV/dashcam footage, to contact the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502, quoting file number 25-65067 (SU).
