
SURREY – Surrey RCMP’s Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) is investigating an overnight shooting that left a local residence damaged.
At around 2:00 a.m. on October 6, 2025, officers responded to reports of shots fired at a home in the 10700-block of 141 Street. Upon arrival, police confirmed that gunfire had caused damage to the exterior of the residence.
Several people were inside the home at the time, but no injuries were reported.
SPOSU officers remained on scene through the morning, gathering physical and digital evidence. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation, and no connections to ongoing extortion cases have been identified at this stage.
