Surrey, BC – October 28, 2025 – The Surrey Police Service (SPS) and the RCMP Serious Property Offences Section Unit (SPOSU) are advising the public of a shots fired incident that caused property damage to a South Surrey business.

At approximately 11:35 a.m. on October 28, 2025, RCMP SPOSU officers responded to reports of possible gunfire at a business in the 15200 block of Croydon Drive. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that damage to the exterior of the business was consistent with gunshots.

Investigators believe the incident occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. on October 27 and 8:30 a.m. on October 28. Fortunately, the business was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported.

The SPOSU General Investigation Unit (GIU) has assumed conduct of the investigation. Police say the investigation remains in its early stages as officers work to gather evidence and review video footage. Investigators are also collaborating with police partners to determine if there may be any connections to other ongoing files.

Anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage from the area is asked to contact police at 604-599-0502.
