Surrey, BC – Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating a shooting that occurred just before 6 p.m. on Monday, December 16, leaving a man and a woman with serious injuries.
SPS frontline officers responded to a distress call from a woman who reported that she and her husband had been shot outside in the 12600 block of 67B Avenue. Their young child, who was in a nearby vehicle during the incident, was unharmed. Both victims were transported to the hospital, where they are being treated for serious injuries.
The suspects, described as adult South Asian men, were last seen fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured sedan.
The investigation is in its early stages and is being supported by multiple units, including the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit Serious Crime Unit, General Investigation Unit, and Surrey Police Service’s Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST).
