Serious Motorcycle Crash in Delta Leaves Rider Injured

Surrey- A major collision in Delta on Saturday afternoon left a motorcycle suspended from a traffic pole, creating a dramatic scene near the Surrey-Delta border.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Scott Road and 71 Avenue involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.

According to Delta Police, the motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Investigators say the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

Images from the scene showed the damaged motorcycle hanging above the roadway from a traffic signal pole following the impact.
