
Mumbai- Two unknown individuals on motorcycles discharged four shots outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Mumbai’s Bandra area early Sunday morning. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. The incident took place at approximately 4:51 am outside Galaxy Apartments, after which the assailants fled. Mumbai Police confirmed that Salman Khan was at home during the incident. Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack on social media. Anmol, who is wanted in India and believed to be in hiding in the US, referred to the incident as a “trailer” and issued a warning to the actor.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde told to media ,”I have also spoken with Salman Khan I have told him that the Government is with him and he need not to worry.
Hours later, Mumbai Police crime branch team arrived on the scene and found at least one bullet mark on the gate of the building entrance.
Following the multiple threats to the Mumbai-based actor, the city police have upgraded the security cover of Salman Khan, plus issued him a permit for a gun licence and last year, the actor acquired a new bullet-proof SUV as additional protection to move around.
