Chandigarh- The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Monday announced a list of its six candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
Former Cabinet minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Bathinda. A few days ago, while speaking to mediapersons, she had hinted at contesting the General Election from Bathinda constituency.
“The party will decide the candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, but as far as I am concerned, I am not going anywhere from Bathinda,” she had said.
In a latest development, Congress leader and former MP Mahinder Singh KP joined the SAD and the party announced his candidature from Jalandhar.
The SAD has given the ticket to Sohan Singh Thandal from Hoshiarpur, while Ranjit Singh Dhillon will contest from Ludhiana.

The SAD announced the name of Nardev Singh Bobby Mann from Ferozepur and Hardeep Singh Butrela from Chandigarh.
