Ottawa – Pierre Poilievre has been elected as the Member of Parliament for Battle River–Crowfoot, securing his place in the House of Commons and continuing his role as Leader of the Official Opposition.
Prime Minister Mark Carney extended congratulations following the result:
“Congratulations to Pierre Poilievre on returning to the House of Commons, and gaining the honour of representing the people of Battle River–Crowfoot in Parliament.”
With this win, Poilievre reaffirms his leadership of the Conservative Party while taking on the responsibility of representing his Alberta constituents in Ottawa.
