India’s prominent Panjab University Chandigarh and University of Fraser Valley (UFV), Canada signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the development of a dual degree program. Provost and Vice-President, (Academic) Dr. James Mandigo, Associate Vice-President (International) Mr. David McGuire, Mr. Gurneet Singh Anand, Advisor (India Initiatives), Mr. Tushar Gajwani, Interim Assistant Director Fraser Valley (India) visited Panjab University on March 20, 2024. Professor Kewal Krishan, Dean International Students, apprised the theme of the MoU in presence of Professor Renu Vig, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rumina Sethi, Dean of University Instruction, and Director, Research & Development Cell, Professor Harsh Nayyar. The MoU will be beneficial to the students of GGDSD College, Sector-32 affiliated to PU in terms of dual bachelor’s degree programs in the disciplines of Business management, Computers and Liberal arts. Student mobility, exchange of researchers, faculty, organizing international conferences, workshops symposia are also part of the MoU between the two universities.
