Chandigarh- In a closely contested election for the Panjab University Campus Students Council (PUCSC) 2024, Anurag Dalal of the DSF Alliance secured the seat of President, winning by a margin of 303 votes. Dalal’s victory came after a tough competition with Prince Chaudhary of CYSS, Arpita Malik of ABVP, and Rahul Nain of NSUI.
This election was historic, as for the first time, two Presidential candidates received over 3,000 votes. The DSF Alliance is a coalition of SOPU, Student Front, Independent, and HIMSU.
In other results, Archit Garg of NSUI elected as Vice President, Vineet Yadav of INSO elected as the General Secretary and Jaswinder Rana of ABVP claimed the position of Joint Secretary of the PUCSC, further diversifying the leadership.
