Ottawa-The new Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship intake for 2024 will open on May 21, 2024. The IRCC will send invitations to 35,700 potential sponsors, aiming to receive up to 20,500 complete applications. This year, 5,500 more invitations will be sent compared to the 2023 intake.
Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will distribute these invitations over approximately two weeks, starting May 21st.
Once again, the sponsor form will not be open for new sponsors.
