Fatal Collision Claims Life of 69-Year-Old Woman

Delta,BC- Delta Police are investigating a serious two-vehicle collision that occurred at 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the intersection of 116th Street and 77A Avenue.

Despite life-saving efforts by the Delta Fire Department and BC Paramedics, a 69-year-old female passenger succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Collision analysts remain on-site as the investigation continues. Impairment is not believed to be a factor at this time.

Police have closed 116th Street between 75A Avenue and 80th Avenue for several hours and are urging drivers to use alternate routes and avoid the area.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact Delta Police and reference File #25-17692.
