
Delta, BC – October 20, 2025: The Delta Police Department (DPD) is investigating an early-morning shooting that officers believe was a targeted incident.
Police were called to a residence on 82nd Avenue near 113th Street around 5 a.m. Sunday following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that shots had been fired.
While the investigation is still in its early stages, police say they do not believe the incident is connected to any ongoing extortion-related activity.
CCTV footage from the area captured a suspect wearing a dark hoodie and a facial covering, as well as a white sedan believed to be associated with the shooting.
DPD officers are conducting door-to-door canvassing in the neighbourhood and are appealing to residents for any information or surveillance video that may assist the investigation.
