Delta Police Crack Down on Unsafe Commercial Vehicles

Delta, BC – Road safety remains a top priority for the Delta Police Department, as their Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit continues to target unsafe practices on local roads.

In March 2025, Delta Police conducted a series of inspections to ensure commercial vehicles met safety standards. Their enforcement efforts resulted in:

🔹 84 inspections conducted

🔹 54 Notice & Orders / Out of Service issued

🔹 299 violations recorded

🔹 49 violation tickets issued

“Our Traffic team remains committed to ensuring the safety of commercial vehicle operators and, in turn, all road users. By holding vehicles to safety standards, our officers help keep Delta’s roads safe for everyone,” Delta Police stated.

This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to preventing road hazards and improving traffic safety year-round.
