City of White Rock invites public to attend council meeting today

White Rock: The City of White Rock will convene its regular council meeting today (May 26, 2025) at the White Rock Community Centre. 

The City has invited members of the public to attend the meeting at the community centre on 15154 Russell Avenue. It has also said free parking is available on the site for the visitors. 

Moreover, a livestream of the meeting can be watched from 4 pm at whiterockcity.ca/agenda. 

The city has listed a number of agenda items for the meetings, which include Pritam Dhaliwal – Request of ‘No Parking’ signs, and Street And Traffic Bylaw Amendments – Truck Definition Harmonization. 

Pritam Dhaliwal, a resident of White Rock, is expected to attend the meeting to request that two “No Parking” signs on Moffatt Lane be removed.

According to the City, a corporate report dated May 26, 2025 from the Manager, Engineering, titled “Street and Traffic Bylaw Amendments – Truck Definition Harmonization”, will be discussed.

The City said Bylaw 2545 is on the agenda for consideration of staff recommended first, second and third reading under Item 9.1.a. 

Under Recommendation, the City wrote on its website, “THAT Council receive for information the May 26, 2025, corporate report from the Manager of Engineering, titled “Street and Traffic Bylaw Amendments -Truck Definition Harmonization”.
