Abbotsford, B.C. – Drivers on Highway 11 experienced an unusual traffic hazard on Saturday morning when a bull was spotted running loose along the busy roadway.
Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) officers quickly responded and, with the help of coordinated efforts, safely apprehended the animal without injury to the bull, drivers, or officers.
Police say the incident was resolved quickly, ensuring public safety and preventing potential collisions. The animal has since been returned safely.
“This was certainly not a call we respond to every day,” AbbyPD said, commending the teamwork that led to a safe outcome.
