BREAKING: Shots Fired at Newton Business

Surrey, B.C. – Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating after a business in the Newton area was struck by gunfire early Friday morning.

At approximately 8:45 a.m. on October 10, 2025, police responded to reports of shots fired in the 8200 block of 124 Street. Upon arrival, officers found a business that had sustained multiple bullet holes.

According to SPS, the business was closed at the time of the shooting, and no one was inside or injured.

“The motive for the incident remains under investigation,” SPS said in a statement, adding that there are currently no known links to any ongoing extortion investigations.

Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to contact Surrey Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
