
Vancouver, BC –Update: Child located and Amber Alert Canceled.
“The child who was the subject of an Amber Alert earlier today, has been located by the VPD and is safe. Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances around today’s incident.” Vancouver Police updated.
Earlier today: An AMBER Alert has been issued across British Columbia after the Vancouver Police Department reported the abduction of a 2-year-old boy, Theodore Lim.
According to police, Theodore is described as being 2 feet tall, weighing 35 pounds, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing all-gray clothing, black shoes with white soles, and is reportedly on a ventilator.
The child was last spotted at 2780 East Broadway Avenue in Vancouver at 10:39 AM on March 13, 2025. Authorities have identified the suspect as Davis Lim, who is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall with black hair. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt with a white logo, black pants, and black shoes.
Officials believe he may be traveling in a blue 2006 Volkswagen Jetta with British Columbia license plate 25VCH.
Police have urged the public not to approach the suspect but to immediately call 911 if they see Theodore Lim, Davis Lim, or the suspect’s vehicle.
