Amritsar — Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami voiced his concern over the escalating tensions between India and Canada, urging both nations to adopt a sincere and constructive approach to resolve their differences.

Addressing the strained relations, Dhami emphasized the impact on the large Indian diaspora, particularly Punjabis, residing in Canada. He highlighted the recent controversy surrounding the murder of Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar and advised both countries to engage in decisive actions rather than trading accusations.

Dhami further appealed to the Indian government to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident, stressing that political maneuvering should not overshadow the gravity of the situation.
