Surrey, BC – Kuldeep Singh Sidhu has been appointed for a second term as a Community Member on the City of Surrey’s Parks, Recreation, and Sport Tourism Committee, as confirmed in an official letter from Mayor Brenda Locke, dated May 28, 2025.

In her letter, Mayor Locke expressed the City Council’s appreciation for Sidhu’s continued volunteer service, recognizing his role in supporting a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive community. His new term will run until December 31, 2026.

Sidhu, who serves as a Regional Manager at Khalsa Credit Union, is well known for his active involvement in community and social service initiatives across the Lower Mainland.

Reacting to the appointment, Sidhu said:

“A great honor to be appointed for the 2nd term to serve as a Community Member on the Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism Committee of City Of Surrey.
