
Abbotsford, BC – December 15, 2025 – Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit is investigating a street robbery that occurred on October 20, 2025, near the intersection of Gladwin Road and South Fraser Way.
At approximately 10:48 a.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a robbery involving a 79-year-old man. Police say the victim stopped to help an unhoused individual who appeared to be in distress. As he approached, the individual and an accomplice allegedly assaulted the senior and robbed him of his personal belongings.
During the incident, a motorist driving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck briefly intervened. However, the driver left the area before police arrived and did not speak with officers.
Investigators are now seeking the public’s help to identify the driver of the white Dodge Ram, who is believed to be a key witness and may have important information to assist the investigation.
