Surrey,BC – Surrey RCMP have executed a search warrant on a residence in Maple Ridge and arrested a woman running a retail fencing scheme (reselling stolen merchandise) from home.
Officers arrested one woman on June 14, 2024 and seized hundreds of designer brand clothing items; including jackets, tops, leggings, and other sports and fashion items. Police estimate the total value of items to be over $43,000.
The woman is alleged to have advertised the stolen goods for sale using Facebook Market Place. She is believed to have been selling items at a significant discount from the original retail prices. The woman is also alleged to have setup a retail-style storefront within her home to facilitate the selling of the stolen goods.

The Surrey RCMP continues to investigate this file and are looking to speak to anyone who may have inadvertently purchased sports or fashion items from this suspect.
