
SURREY, B.C. — The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle in South Surrey on Sunday.
At approximately 1:51 p.m. on August 23, 2026, SPS officers responded to a report from BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) of a collision at the intersection of 154 Street and 24 Avenue.
Officers arrived to find an adult male cyclist being treated by BCEHS paramedics. He was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene.
SPS’s Collision Investigation Unit has taken over the investigation. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who was driving in the area and may have captured the incident on dashcam, to come forward.
