Delta, BC – On January 26, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Delta Police Department responded to a fatal single-vehicle rollover collision on Hwy 99 southbound at the Hwy 17 offramp. A white Dodge Ram pickup truck struck a collision impact attenuator before flipping onto its roof. Tragically, the driver, a 40-year-old man from Alberta and the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) was called to the scene to gather evidence, leading to the closure of the offramp for several hours while investigations were underway.
