Ottawa- The Liberal Party of Canada has unveiled key details for its upcoming leadership race.
• The leadership vote will wrap up on March 9, 2025.
• Candidates must pay a $350,000 entrance fee to participate.
• The Leadership Vote Committee will be co-chaired by Suzanne Cowan, Past Party President, and Marc-Etienne Vien, LPC(Q) Director.
• MP Patricia Lattanzio and John Herhalt will co-chair the Leadership Expense Committee.
This announcement signals the start of preparations for the party’s next leader.
