In a jolt to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), former MLA and CPS Pawan Kumar Tinu joined the AAP on Sunday in Chandigarh. He may be field from the Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency.
Earlier, former AAP leader, who won the Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll after the demise of Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary, joined the BJP.
It was being assumed that Sushil Rinku will contest the elections on AAP ticket, but he switched sides.
Now, it is being expected that Pawan Kumar Tinu may get the AAP ticket from Jalandhar.
