Calgary, AB – An Indian national under federal investigation escaped from Rockyview Hospital late last night, prompting an urgent search by authorities.
Jagdeep Singh fled the hospital while undergoing a medical assessment. Singh is currently being investigated by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) for alleged involvement in organized crime under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
The CBSA has confirmed it is collaborating with local police agencies to locate Singh as quickly as possible. Officials are urging the public to remain vigilant.
Authorities stress that anyone with information on Singh’s whereabouts should immediately call 911. Citizens are strongly advised not to approach or attempt to apprehend him.
