Victoria-Advance voting for British Columbia’s 43rd Provincial General Election begins today Thursday, October 10.
Advance voting places will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time each advance voting day. There are six days of advance voting for this election, from Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 13, and from Tuesday, October 15 to Wednesday, October 16.
Advance voting places and district electoral offices will be closed on Monday, October 14, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Voters can find information about where to vote on Elections BC’s website at the links below. They can also call Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683.
Elections BC has also sent Where to Vote cards to every registered voter in the province. The cards list advance voting places in the voter’s electoral district, and their assigned voting place for Final Voting Day on Saturday, October 19.
Where to Vote cards list the voting places that are usually most-convenient for voters. Voters can, however, vote at any other voting place in the province. Voters are encouraged to bring their Where to Vote card with them when they vote. All voters must prove their identity and residential address by showing acceptable ID or being vouched for.
