A collision occurred in Surrey near 152 street and 69 Ave on March 31, 2024, involving a Range Rover and a Mitsubishi Lancer. The driver of the Lancer sustained serious injuries and the passenger had minor injuries, both transported to the hospital. The Range Rover’s sole occupant fled the scene but later turned himself in and was arrested for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and failing to remain at the scene. The investigation is being handled by the Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT), with the driver of the Lancer still hospitalized in serious condition.
