Police investigate shots fired at Surrey residence

Surrey, B.C. – Surrey Police Service (SPS) and the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) are investigating after shots were fired at a residence in Surrey on Saturday morning.

At approximately 8:40 a.m. on November 8, 2025, officers responded to reports of gunfire at a home in the 17000 block of 32 Avenue. Upon arrival, SPOSU officers confirmed that the exterior of the residence had been damaged by gunshots.

The RCMP SPOSU General Investigation Unit has taken over the case. Investigators say the investigation is still in its early stages, and efforts are underway to gather evidence, including reviewing surveillance footage and working with police partners to determine whether the incident is linked to any other files.

Anyone with information, or with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, is asked to contact the Surrey Police Service non-emergency line at 604-599-0502, quoting file number 25-61960 (SU).
