Liberals and NDP just voted to hike the carbon tax on April 1st. Conservatives are now calling for a carbon-tax election!
Conservative leader spokes to his fellow members, ”Canadians can no longer afford to eat, heat, or house themselves. We are calling for the house to be dissolved so Canadians can vote in a Carbon Tax Election.”
After Pierre Poilievre said 70% of Canadians know the Liberals are is lying about Carbon Tax Rebates… Justin Trudeau said he has no time for an election because he’s too busy delivering!
Deputy leader of the Conservative Party of Canada Tim Uppal said ,”The NDP and Liberals voted for raising the carbon tax on small businesses, families, and all Canadians. Common Sense Conservatives are calling a vote of nonconfidence in this Liberal-NDP government.”
Poilievre and his party are ramping up the pressure on the Liberal govt. to drop a plan to increase the federal carbon tax. The tax is set to rise by about 23 per cent on April 1, which means consumers can expect to pay about three cents more for a litre of gas than they do now.
